(1)spend的用法:
Spend 的主要意思是“花费,消费,消耗”, 主语一般是人,主要有两个句子结构:
1spend on sth. 花费/消耗……在某物/某事上,这里的on不能省略。
2spend time on/ in doing sth. 花费/消耗时间在某物上,这里的on/ in可以省略。
如:He usually _______ his money _______ books .
He always _______ much time _______(do) homework .
(2) watch 的用法
watch可以做及物动词,意为“注视,观看”。其结构为watch sb. do sth. 看着某人做了某事;watch sb. doing sth. 看着某人正在做某事。watch还可以用作名词,意为“手表”。
I watch him put on his coat . 我看着他穿上衣服。
He watched them eating . 他看着他们吃。

1. Activity 2a (Pre-reading)
让学生两人一组针对2a中所列的不同地点根据个人情况进行问与答,参考对话如下:
AIs there a clothes store near your home ?
B: Yes , there is . Go along
双方交换角回答完毕后,根据世界情况勾出自家附近有的地点,同时可用符号标出同伴家附近有的地点。
2. Activity 2b  (while-reading)
1)让学生先观察2b的三幅图片,然后快速浏览2b三篇短文中的第一、二句和最后一句,完成2b的图文匹配任务。全班核对答案。
2)让学生仔细阅读三篇短文和相关图片,然后分小组讨论,根据Anna , John , Lisa 的居住环境回答课本上cooperative2c的问题。各小组进行竞赛,比一比哪个小组回答的最快、最好。
Anna likes watching the monkeys climbing around .
