发文章in peer review
The first journal to formally establish a peer review procedure is the Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society, and the review of a research paper begins with the process of "internal review". All authors must read this article and coordinate their comments before submitting it. The external review process starts after the article is submitted, and the editor assigns the paper to external reviewers who have nothing to do with the research work. External reviewers evaluate the quality, accuracy and completeness of the submitted articles according to the requirements of the magazine.
There are four types of peer review: open review, single blind review, double blind review and triple blind review.
Open review: In order to increase transparency, the names of reviewers and authors are presented to each other. During the review process, the author's name was mentioned for review. The names of reviewers can be mentioned in different ways, such as printing the names of reviewers on published articles and commenting at the same time as publishing p
apers.
Single review: This seems to be the most common type at present. The name of the reviewer is hidden from the author. It avoids the influence of the author and allows the reviewers to criticize the article severely.
However, one disadvantage is that reviewers may delay the review process in order to publish their works first.
Double-blind review: Both reviewers and authors are anonymous. It eliminates the bias of reviewers, and the reputation of senior authors will not affect publications.
peerBlind evaluation: reviewers are anonymous to authors, and authors are anonymous to reviewers and editors. It increases complexity, but reduces prejudice.
