Ⅲ. Key points：
1.Do you prefer writing a report on paper or on the computer?
prefer v. 更喜欢；宁愿    prefer--preferred--preferred  现在分词：preferring
prefer用法：后跟名词、动名词(doing)或动词不定式(to do)作宾语。
(1) prefer+名词  更喜欢某人或某物
E.g. He is from Shanghai, so he prefers rice. 他来自上海，因此他更喜欢米饭。
(2) prefer doing sth.  更喜欢做某事，宁愿做某事。
E.g. I prefer walking alone. 我更喜欢一个人散步。
(3) prefer to do sth.  更喜欢做某事，宁愿做某事。
E.g. We prefer to go at once. 我们宁愿马上就走。
辨析：prefer doing sth.和prefer to do sth.的区别
prefer doing强调一般性倾向，即对某种行为的偏爱。
prefer to do sth. 强调特定的或某次具体的动作，即在一定的场合下宁愿做什么。
拓展：
(1) prefer A to B  相比B来说更喜欢A
prefer doing A to doing B  相比做B来说更喜欢做A
E.g. I prefer apples to pears.  比起梨我更喜欢苹果。
He prefers reading books to watching TV. 他宁愿读书而不是看电视。
(2) prefer to do A rather than do B  宁愿做A而不愿做B
    E.g. I prefer to stay at home rather than go out. 我宁愿待在家里也不出去。
