探究点一单词和短语
教学建议
老师要注意通过提示性的问题引导学生交流、总结及拓展一些常用单词、短语的用法。
1. play v.
(1)My brother plays his CDs too loud.我的弟弟把唱片的音量放得太大。
(2)Can she play football? 她会踢足球吗?
(3)Tina likes playing the guitar. 蒂娜喜欢弹吉他。
思考:
(1)我们以前学过的play的意思是,如They often played on the playground when they were young.
(2)本单元中的意思是。play CDs 意为。
(3)paly可作“弹奏、踢或打”讲。仔细观察例(2)与例(3),我们发现paly后跟球类运动或棋类名词时,不加,跟乐器名词时要加。
2. argue v.争论;争吵
(1)I argued with my best friend.我与我最好的朋友吵架了。
(2)They are arguing about/over money.他们正在为了钱而争论。
(3)I hear that you’ve just had an argument with your
mother.我听说你刚刚和你妈妈吵架了。
思考:
(1)argue是动词,名词是。
(2)结合例句总结argue的用法:
3. enough
(1)I don’t have enough money.我没有足够的钱。
(2)He is strong enough to carry the box.他足够壮,可以搬动那个箱子。
(3)Can you run fast enough to catch up with her? 你能跑得足够快来追上她吗?
思考:
(1)enough作为形容词修饰名词时,放在名词。
(2)作为副词,修饰形容词或副词,只能放在被修饰词的。
4. surprise
(1)I don’t want to surprise him.我不想让他感到吃惊。
(2)To my surprise,he didn’t want to come.令我吃惊的是,他不想来。
(3)We are surprised to see George crying in the
room.我们看到乔治在屋里哭感到很吃惊。
思考:
(1)surprise的词性分两种,一种是,另一种是。
(2)总结它在例句(1)和(2)中的用法:
(3)它的形容词是表示“做某事很吃惊”。
5. keep out
(1)She kept her husband out after a quarrel.她在与丈夫争吵之后把丈夫拒之门外。(2)Keep away from the monkeys. They are dangerous.离那些猴子远点,它们很危险。
(3)Hurry up,or you won’t keep up with us.快点,不然你跟不上我们了。
思考:
(1)keep out意思是。

6. call sb. up打电话给某人
(1)You should call him up.你可以打电话给他。
(2)She is busy with her homework. Don’call her up.
她正忙于做作业,别给她打电话。
(3)Give me a call when you are free.当你有空的时候给我打个电话。
思考:
(1)call
sb.up是由“动词+副词”构成的短语,如果名词作宾语,放在中间还是后面?若宾语是代词呢?(2)call sb.up的同义表达有哪些?
