come 无论在中高考还是其他英语考试中都 很常见,但其用法繁多,现整理如下:
1. come for/about sth; come to do sth : to arrive somewhere in order to do sth or get
sth 来做;来取;来拿
I have come for my book.
I have come about my book.
I have come to get my book.
2. come as sth
Her death came as a terrible shock to us. His resignation came as no surprise.
3. come to/into sth  :used in many expressions to show that sth has reached a particular state 达到;进
At last winter came to an end.
He came to power in 1949.
When will they come to a decision?
The trees are coming into leaf.
4. come in sth: of goods, products, be available or to exist in a particular way.可 提供;有货
This dress comes in black and red.
5. come right
Everthing will come right in the end.
6. come about (that...): to happen  发生      Can you tell me how the accident came about?
7. come across/come over
a. to be understood  被理解;被弄懂            He  spoke  for a long time but his meaning didn't really come across.
b. to make a particular impression  给人以... 印象;使产生 ...印象
She comes across well in interviews.  He came over as a sympathetic person.
8. come across sb/sth: to meet or find sb/sth by chance  偶然遇见;碰见
I came across children sleeping under bridges. She came across some old photographs in a drawer.
9.  come  across  with  sthto  provide  or supply sth when you need it  需要时提供, 供给,给予
I hoped  she would come  across with  some more information.
10. come after sb: to chase or follow sb 追 赶;追逐;追随
11. come along
a. to arrive; to appear  到达;抵达;出现      When the right opportunity comes along, she'll take it.
b. to go somewhere with sb  跟随;跟着来
I'm glad you came along.
c. to improve or develop in the way that you want 进步;进展  (=progress)
Your French has come along a lot recently.
d. Used in orders to tell sb to hurry, or to try harder 快,  加把劲

13. come around/round
a. (=come to) to become conscious again 恢 知觉;苏醒

b. of a date or a regular event to happen again  My birthday  seems to come around quicker every year.
14. come around/round  to...:to come to a place, especially sb's house, to visit for a short time  短暂访问
Do come around and see us some time.
15. come around/round to sth:  to change your mood or your opinion  改变心态;  改变 观点
He'll  never  come  round  to  our  way  of thinking.
16. come  at  sb:to  move  towards  sb  as though you are going to attack them 扑向    (某人)
She came at me with a knife.

17. come at sth: to think about a problem, question,etc.in a particular way  考虑,  思考    (approach)

18.  come  away  from  sth:  to  become separated from sth

a. to break and fall to the ground  坍塌;崩塌 The ceiling came down with a terrific crash.    b. (of rain, snow, etc.) to fall  落下;降落      The rain came down in torrents.

We were forced to come down in a field.
d. if a price, a temperature, a rate, etc. comes down, it gets lower. (价格、温度、比率等)  降,降低
The price  of gas is coming  down.(=Gas  is coming down in price)
e. to decide and say publicly that you support or oppose sb  决定并宣布(支持或反对)      The committee came down in support of his application.
g. to reach as far down as a particular point 垂;向下延伸(到某一点)
Her hair comes down to her waist.
29. come down from ...( 反义词 come up to)  a.在期末或学业结束后离开大学,大学毕业    (尤指牛津和剑桥)
b. come down from...to...  从...到... (通常指从 国的北部到南部,或从大地方到小地方)  30.  come down  on  sb  (无被动语态):  to criticize severely or punish sb 斥责;训斥; 惩罚

31. come down to sb: to have come from a long time in the past ( 从很久以前)流传下来 The  name has  come  down  from  the  last century.
