摘要：Disclosed are a session switching method, apparatus and system, for realizing session switching after a UE moves out of a service range of an SMF device serving a source base station. The method comprises: receiving a switching request, which is sent
by a source base station performing a PDU session and carries identification information about a target base station to be switched to; determining a second SMF device serving the target base station when it is determined that the target base station is not in a service range of a first SMF device serving the source base station, and sending a first N2 SM container to the second SMF device; receiving a second N2 SM container sent by the second SMF device, and sending same to the target base station; and sending, to the second SMF device, a tunnel identifier of the target base station returned by the target base station, and performing session switching upon reception of a response. Thus, a second UPF device can respectively establish a connection with the target base station and a first UPF device, such that a process of establishing a user-plane tunnel is realized.
