摘要：A paper or carton (1) drying assembly receives a paper or carton web in contact with a de-watering belt, pressing belt, sieve belt etc. (2). The web and belt pass together over two rotating drums (3, 5) linked by a web stabilisation unit (9). The stabilisation
assembly (9) esp. consists of a simple base frame support (10) extending the width of the
web (1), from which it is separated by a narrow gap. The support (10) bears a seal (12) facing the web (1) and/or belt (2) and is presented in the zone immediately prior to the web separation point on the first drum (3), from which it removes boundary layer air (20). The base frame has a second seal (13, 14) removing boundary layer (21) air from between the frame (10) and the second mantle surface (5).
