易错点一：would rather的用法
【例句】 They want a house, whereas we would rather live in a flat.
他们想要一所房子，我们则宁愿住一套房间。
【讲解】would rather意为“宁愿，宁可”，表示主语进行的选择，后接动词原形，构成would rather do sth.结构，其否定形式为would rather not do sth.。另固定搭配would rather do sth. than do sth. 意为“宁愿做某事而不愿做某事”，相当于prefer to do sth. rather than do sth.。
