how many用来修饰可数名词的复数，它的句式是:How many+复数名词+一般疑问句＋?

how much用来修饰不可数名词，表示数量，也可单独使用。

一． how many的用法
how many在句首,名词复数跟着走,一般问句紧相随,其它成分不要丢.

how much询问价格时，它的回答若是中国的货币单位应采用汉语拼音yuan,fen来表示，几角常采用几十分来表示，字母用小写，且不用复数。

3.用来询问事物的重量。例如：

1、how long
how long有以下两个主要意思：

2. 表示某东西有多长。如：
How long is the river? 这条河有多长？

3、how soon

表示“多远”对距离的提问

四、how about
how about 是英语口语中常用词。一般用于以下几个方面
A、向对方提出建议或请求,征询对方的看法或意见。How about doing sth.
例如：How about having a rest?
B、 寒暄时用作承接上下文的转折语。例如：
