△语法聚焦 [形容词/副词的比较级与最高级]
一 定义及用法
两者比较，用比较级，通常标志词为than；三者及三者以上用最高级，通常会出现表示范围的状语或者比较的体,形容词最高级前要有定冠词the，副词最高级前通常省略the.
I have more money than you.
My brother is the shortest in my family.
He spends the most time on bobbies of the four boys.

4.比较级前的修饰语

5.比较级表达最高级含义
①Tom is the tallest in his class.
=Tom is taller than any other student in his class.
=Tom is taller than the other students in his class.
=Tom is taller than the rest of the students in his class.
[区分]
any other+名词/any+名词
any other 指比较的两个对象在同一个范围。
any+名词 指than后面的对象与前面的对象不在一个范围。
China is larger than any other country in Asia.
Shanghai is larger than any city in Japan.
②否定词与比较级连用，有时表达最高级含义。
Nothing is more important than heath.
I can’t/couldn’t agree more.

6.指示代词在比较级中的考点
The weather in Beijing is better than that in Tianjin.

△当名词有后置定语修饰，为了避免重复，需要借助代词代替已经出现的名词。
指代可数名词单数用that/the one;
指代可数名词复数用those/the ones；
指代不可数名词只用that。
7.the +比较级+句子； the +比较级+句子[越......越......]
The more you eat,the fatter you will become.
8.one of +形容词最高级+名词复数
He is one of the most tallest boys in our school.
9.比较级+比较级.../more and more+多音节和部分双音节  越来越......
The population of China is becoming larger and larger.

[注]:more bigger的表达是错误的。
