3、 favourite的两种词性
①作adj. 时,意为“最喜爱的”“特别喜爱的”,因为这个单词本身有“最”的含义,所以没有比较级和最高级形式。This is my favourite book. 这是我最喜欢的书。
②作n. 时,意为“特别喜爱的人或物;最喜爱的人或物”,是可数名词,复数为favourites。
Apples and bananas are my favourites.苹果和香蕉是我最喜欢的。

4、 colour的用法
①作n. 时,意为“颜,彩”。 I don’t like the colour. 我不喜欢这种颜。
②作v. 时,意为“给……着”。 Colour the banana yellow.把香蕉涂成黄。
③what colour意为“什么颜”,这是就颜提问的特殊疑问词组,放在句首,后面接一般疑问句。 —What colour ______ (be) your pencils? —They are white and black.
5、Sometimes, American spelling is different from British spelling.有时美式拼写不同于英式拼写。
①句中的different是adj.,意为“不同的”,修饰名词时,名词常用复数形式。如:不同的教室______________________。
②短语be different from意为“与……不同”。如:中文名字与英文名字不同。Chinese names _________________________________.
③different的名词形式是difference,反义词是same,be different from的反义词组是be the same as。如:

3、 How about blue? 蓝怎么样?

4、How many colours do you see? 你看到了多少种颜?
① 本句是由how many引导的特殊疑问句。其结构为“How many+名词的复数形式+助动词+主语+实义动词?” how many意为“多少",主要对物品的数量进行提问,后接可数名词的复数形式。答语用数词作答。
例如: —How many pens ___________________? 你能看见多少支钢笔?
—I can see six pens. / Six. 我能看见六支。
② 如果问不可数名词的数量,则要用“How much+不可数名词+其它”。例如:

5、 I come out after the rain.我在雨后出来。
come out是一个固定短语,但它却有多种含义,你能分辨清楚吗? come out常用的含义还有:(花儿) 开放;公开;出版。例如:
