比较级句型，“A+谓语+adj./adv.的比较级+than+B”，“A比B……”。比较的对象必须前后一致。
Sam has longer hair than Tom.=Sam’s hair is longer than Tom’s.    My bike is newer than Tom’s.
（1）not+比较级+than  不如…… This book is not more popular than that one.=This book is less popular than that one.
（2）A+谓语+比较级+than any other……（相同范围）    A+谓语+比较级+than any……（不同范围）  A比其他任何一个都……
Shanghai is bigger than any other city in China .（上海属于中国）China is bigger any country in Europe .（中国不属于欧洲）
（3）the+比较级，the+比较级    越……越…… 
The more,the better. 多多益善。 The more I know him,the more I like him. 我越认识他，就越喜欢他。
（4）the+比较级+of the two……  两个中较……的一个  Tom is the taller of the two brothers.
（5）比较级+比较级，越来越…… As summer is coming,the day is becoming longer and longer.
2.Both Sam and Tom can play the drums,but Sam plays them better than Tom.
both 两者都，放在助动词后、实义动词前

反意疑问句，表示提问人的看法没有把握，需要对方证实。
组成：陈述句+附加的简短疑问句，两种类型：肯定陈述+否定疑问、肯定否定陈述+肯定疑问。
附加的简短疑问句：助动词+主语，主语必须是人称代词，有not必缩写。
反意疑问句的回答：根据事实从后往前翻译

as……as……和……一样，用于同级之间的比较。
（1）as+形容词/副词的原级+as……，表示两者在某方面相同或相等。Mike is as outgoing
as his father.
（2）not as/so……as，不像……一样、……不如……。Spring isn’t as/so cold as winter.
（3）as+形容词+a/an+单数可数名词+as…… 像……一样的一位…… She is as good a teacher as her mother.
（4）倍数/分数+as+形容词/副词的比较级+as，用于表示两者之间的数量关系。    The building is half as tall as that one.
5.You can tell that Lisa really wanted to win,though.然而,你很明显能判断出来丽莎很想赢。
tell 告诉 tell sb. to do sth.
提供，说明The book tells how to make noodles. 
泄漏，泄密Don’t tell him any secret. 
命令，指示，吩咐The light tells you if the machine is on. 
判断，辨别How can we tell the good from the bad?
产生效果，发生影响His work is beginning to tell.

动名词表示普遍性，经常性。不定式表示阶段性，特定性。
