B. 任务型阅读(共10题, 每题1分, 计10分)
The way we spend our time can be divided into three “bottles”. These are the necessary tasks bottle, the voluntary(自愿的)tasks bottle and the happiness bottle.
Every day, we spend time filling the necessary tasks bottle with useful things, like making money, doing housework, buying food and paying bills. We then fill another bottle with voluntary tasks. These are things that we do for others, but we may not enjoy them. This bottle gets filled with tasks like taking children to activities, cooking family meals, and doing laundry. Those bottles are very important. If we don’t fill them each day, our family won’t run properly. However, we often forget to fill the third bottle ---- the happiness bottle that we fill with activities that make us happy. Is your happiness bottle sometimes empty at the end of the day? Between doing all the necessary and voluntary tasks, time flies by, and before we know it, it is time for bed. We all have days like that.
This is why each day we have to make an effort to fill our happiness bottle. I fill mine by going to the dancing class. And I always leave classes more happily than when I enter. This week, I had the pleasure of taking part in a guitar practice in my neighborhood. We show our musical talent and practice music for charity. It was a time of fun, friendship and music-making. At the end of the evening, my happiness bottle was filled to top.
Will your activities bring joy to your life? Or are the other two tasks eating up all your time? Try to find ways to achieve a balance between how you fill your three bottles. At the end of the day, hopefully we’ve done all we can to make sure that our happiness bottle is filled.

B. 阅读下面的短文,完成表格中所缺信息,每空一词。(共10题,每题1分,计10分)Beyond its influence on health, not getting enough sleep can lead to car accidents or other mistakes. Here are what sleep researchers have found about how to sleep.
How much sleep do we actually need?
It is known that all of us naturally need no less than eight hours of sleep per night. When we sleep below six hours per 24. we're at an increased risk of health problems. Some of us think we can make up any of those hours lost during the week on the weekends. Sadly there is no storage system for sleep in the brain.
Can we train ourselves to need less sleep?
As a study in 1964, a 17-year-old boy named Randy Gardner stayed awake for 264 hours. How many people could do anything close to that without dying?
When you are reading this, you might say you usually get six hours of sleep and feel just fine. Sleep experts often compare people without enough sleep to drunk drivers: They don’t get behind the wheel thinking they're probably going to kill someone.
Can we drink coffee instead of sleeping?
Coffee can keep us awake. Remember, too much coffee may throw off our sleep and energy cycles. So limit coffee and avoid caffeine for four to six hours before bedtime.
Does a sense of purpose connect to sleep quality?
A new research suggests a kind of strong connection between purpose in life and sleep. People who have a greater sense of purpose usually have better physical and mental health, which in turn explains their higher-quality sleep. Perhaps developing a sense of purpose in life could be as useful at improving sleep as the healthy habits above.

It's important to develop the healthy habits in your daily life. The following will help you become healthier and keep perfect shape.
Eat properly. A healthy diet is very important for everybody. Breakfast is the most important meal in a
day. Doctors suggest that students’ breakfast should include fruit, eggs, milk, rice or noodles, because these can offer them necessary energy, help them listen carefully in class and keep them healthy. Eat enough for lunch and little for supper. But remember that too much sugar is bad for your teeth and blood. You shouldn't have too many sweet snacks and desserts in your diet, even though such food tastes delicious.
Keep off germs(病菌).Daily tooth cleaning reduces the amount of germs, which will spread diseases. Germs in the mouth are likely to enter the blood and cause illness, even heart disease. Even if you' re not sick, always remember to cough or sneeze into your arms instead of your hands because hands can spread germs to others when you touch something else. Besides, washing hands is necessary after going to the toilet or before having a meal. And you'd better rub both hands while washing them.
Exercise regularly.Regular exercise can improve your moods and balance. What's more, it's good for bones. There are many forms of exercise: walking or running for about 30 minutes a day, playing ball games twice or three times a week, swimming or dancing often. You can choose your favourite to practise regularly. You will not only feel energetic but also think better after doing exercise.
Stay connected. Having regular communication with friends is the key to reducing stress. And sharing
happiness and sadness, exchanging information with others can also help improve memory. Having a friend or a circle of friends can help you feel good.

“I will think of it.” It is easy to say this, but do you know what great things have come from thinking?
Sir Isaac Newton was sitting in his garden when he saw an apple fall from a tree. He began to think and tried to find out why the apple fell. He got the idea of gravity(重力). Then he discovered how the sun, moon and stars are kept in their places.
A boy named James Watt sat quietly by the fire, watching the lid of the kettle move up and down. He wanted to find out why the steam in the kettle moved the lid. From that time he went on thinking and thi
nking. And when he became a man, he improved the steam engine so much that it could easily do the work of many horses. James Ferhuson was a poor boy. Once, seeing the inside of a watch, he wondered, “
