My Ideal Friend
Friendship is most valuable to every one in the world. I personally think an ideal friend should
have the qualities as follows. Firstly, my friend and I should have the same interest. Secondly, an ideal friend would deeply understand me and appreciate me. Lastly but by no means the least, the friend should be faithful and reliable.
Mary is my ideal friend. We have the same interest. We both like study and travelling. We can understand each other very well. Sometimes, we don’t have to say something, but we do know what is in each other’s mind. So when I am in a bad mood, she knows how to comfort me. She is also very faithful and reliable. She is always the first person that I can think of and who help me when I need help. Thus she becomes my ideal friend.
Though we are ideal friends, we still need to remember: “a friend in need is a friend indeed”.

Ways of Getting Information
In the modern society, there are various ways of getting information, for instance, newspapers, TV, radio, Internet, comunication and so on.
As far as I'm concerned, I prefer surfing the Internet with my cell phone to get information because we can get as much informaiton by surfing the Internet with the cell phone as with the computer. More than this, a more important reason is that it is very convenient: it can be done at any time and almost any place. When we need to find some information, we don’t have to wait.
Surfing the Internet with cell phone is a very convenient way to get information. But other ways of getting information do have their own advantages: for example: TV can provide people with visual and vivid information, which can relax people. Radio and TV can help people who do not know how to surf the Internet to get information. Therefore, to get information, different people shall choose the most appropriate ways for their different purposes.
