Accident in a Chinese city
As we can see from the table that main accident causes include drivers turning left without due care which resulted 608 accidents in the city and rose 10%. Others are drivers traveling too close to other vehicles pedestrians crossing roads carelessly. Drivers driving under the influence of alcohol and failing to give a signal. And as a result 411, 401, 281, 264 accidents were caused. The rate are rose 9%, 12%, 15% except the last one which is declined of 15%.
From the table we can make a conclusion that the accident in the city increased year by year. One the other hand, driver is the vital factor in the accident.
Some measures must be taken to release this problem. In my opinion, the traffic regulations is the most important one which should be learned by the driver when they try to obtain the liencense. Secondly, our government should pass some laws to prevent traffic accidents such as prevent drivers from driving under the influence of alcohol. Last but not the least our society should arouse the awareness of the great harm which can result from traffic accidents and the importance of driving carefully and responsibility. Only do that can we live
a better life and have a good traffic condition.

Secondly, our government should pass some laws (通过法律，有点歧义，是当做措施还是政府制定法律来解决。 然后后面你写的意思是组织交通事故，不完整吧)to prevent traffic accidents such as（such as 例如后面好像是要接三个例子吧） prevent drivers from driving under the influence of alcohol. Last but not the least our society should arouse the awareness of the great harm which can result from traffic accidents and the importance of driving carefully and responsibility. Only do that can we live a better life and have a good traffic condition.

As are shown in the table that there are main five reasons to cause city traffic accidents. There happened 1965 accidents in 2005 due to this main five causes which the average percentage of accident has risen to 8.2% comparing to the last year. A conclusion is made that drivers are still with bad customs and seriously lack of safety consciousness, and are making this situation bad to worse according to above table. All we know that there are hundreds of citizens to die from city traffic accidents due to obove main causes, if we don’t still take further actions to prevent it, there will be more and more lives and property to be lost. Some measures should be taken to prevent the accident to happen again from my view point. First of all the traffic regulations are the most important for drivers who are supposed to know rules well before they are qualified for driving license. Secondly, local government
should make some strictly punishments by law to modify driver’s bad behavior such as driving under the influence of alcohol and keeping close distance to other vehicles. Last but not the least our society should arouse the awareness of safe driving to drivers and make drivers develop good driving habits. Only do that can we live a better life and have a good traffic condition.
