教学过程
Step 1 Warming-up(10 Minutes)
6.Greetings.
7.Sing the “Hello” song with the teacher.
8.Review some common English words, such as “bed”, “chr” and “table”.
Step 2 Presentation(15 Minutes)
9.Show pictures of various types of garbage and expln that some of these items can be recycled. Ask students what they know about recycling.
10.Introduce the new vocabulary words: recycle, paper, glass and plastic. Write the words on the board and have the students repeat them out loud several times.
11.Give an explanation of how to recycle items by separating trash into the correct categories.
12.Demonstrate proper waste disposal by sorting items into cardboard boxes labeled “Paper”, “Glass”, and “Plastic”.
Step 3 Practice(20 Minutes)
13.Ask students to think of the objects that can be recycled at home.
14.Have students work with a partner to ask and answer the question: “What can you recycle?”
15.Encourage students to provide as much detl as possible in their answers (“I can recycle paper/glass/plastic.” )
16.Have students write these new sentences in their English notebooks.
Step 4 Production(10 Minutes)
17.Ask students to imagine they are an environmentally-friendly superhero.
18.Have students draw a picture of themselves performing some environmentally-friendly action, such as recycling paper, or turning off the lights when they leave a room.
19.Have students present their superhero descriptions to the class.
Step 5 Conclusion(5 Minutes)
Summarize the key points of today’s lesson, including the new vocabulary words, the correct waste disposal practices and the idea of being an environmentally-conscious superhero.
