一、 教材分析
本课是外研社新标准小学英语(三年级起点)五年级上册第七模块第一 单元He can't see。主要教学内容是谈论能力的不足。课文情境是Sam, Amy 和Lingling一起看电视,电视里正在播放介绍狗帮助人的节目。主持人介绍 了狗帮助盲人、聋人以及帮助消防队员救人的事例。看完节目后,Sam问 Ms Smart家里可不可以养狗,Ms Smart遗憾地的说不可以,但她给大家端来 了晚餐一一热狗。Lingling听到这个名字下了一跳,Sam告诉她热狗只是香肠 和面包。
二、学情分析
学生在四年级已经学过了 “can”表示能力的用法,并且在Module6也 对“can”的用法进行了巩固复习。所以这节课的知识对学生们来说不难掌 握。本课的学习重点是用“can】”说明能力的不足。
三、教学目标
1.语言知识1)全体学生能运用He can't see. The little girl can't walk.”来谈论能力 的不足。
2)全体学生能理解词汇:a lot, useful, show, presenter, blind, deaf, hear, her, fire, firefighter, hot dog, sausage。
3)全体学生能运用词汇:hear, her;部分学生能运用词汇:a lot, useful, show, presenter, blind, deaf, fire, firefighter, hot dog, sausage。
2.语言技能1)全体学生能听懂He can,t see。
2)全体学生能说He can't see。
3)全体学生能认读He can't see。
4)全体学生能按要求完成语句书写。
3.情感态度乐于感知并积极尝试使用英语,通过学习本课了解动物的可爱之处。
4.学习策略积极与他人合作交流,共同完成任务。
5.文化意识进一步了解英语国家中典型的食物。
四、教学重难点
1.教学重点:全体学生能运用“can,t”谈论能力的不足。
