This standard has been prepared by ECISS/TC 10 ‘Structural steel – Grades and qualities’ (Secretariat: The Netherlands).
The responsible German body involved in its preparation was the Normenausschuss Eisen und Stahl (St
eel and Iron Standards Committee), Technical Committees Stähle  für den Stahlbau , Maßnormen für warmge-walzte Flacherzeugnisse and Maßnormen für warmgewalzte Profilerzeugnisse.
