摘要：A method for making awareness of occurrence of a supplementary service, a Voice Call Continuity service control entity and a media gateway control entity are
disclosed. With the method, a Voice Call Continuity service control entity and/or a user
may make awareness of the occurrence of a supplementary service in an IMS-based network architecture. The method includes: obtaining a notification signaling notifying that a user performs a supplementary service by at least one of the Voice Call Continuity service control entity or an opposite end of a call, and making awareness of occurrence of the supplementary service according to the notification signaling. With the method, functions of the Voice Call Continuity service control entity may be improved, so that the Voice Call Continuity service control entity may receive notification signaling notifying that a user performs a supplementary service, and to resolve the notification signaling, and to update the call attribute of the user.
