摘要:PURPOSE:To obtain an amino acid with simple apparatus and operation in high yield, by reacting acetaldehyde, ammonia and a cyanogen compound in the presence of sulfide ion. CONSTITUTION:Alanine can be synthesized by reacting acetaldehyde, ammonia and a cyanogen compound in the presence of sulfide ion. The sulfide ion catalyzes the reaction to form the objective amino acid in high yield. If necessary, the reaction is carried out by adding Mg or a transition metal to the reaction system. The reaction proceeds at normal temperature. The sulfide ion means S<2-> liberated from a sulfide (e.g. hydrogen sulfide or sodium sulfide) at pH2-9.
