摘要：PURPOSE:To adjust the air gap between a linear motor and a reaction rail in short time by suspending the linear motor to be fixed to a truck supported on travel wheels through a plurality of suspension links incorporating eccentric cams. CONSTITUTION:Primary side 4 of a linear motor is suspended through three suspension links 13, 14, 14 incorporating an eccentric cam 18 hanging down from yoke frames 8, 9 secured to wheel shafts 6, 7. Shaft boxes 20a, 20b of the wheel shafts 6, 7 and the linear motor 4 are coupled through two lateral rings 15, 15 stretching laterally with respect to the advancing direction of a truck 2. A safety link 16 is arranged closely to the suspension links 13, 14. Self-weight of the motor 4 and the vertical suction force are transmitted through the suspension links 13, 14 and the yoke frames 8, 9 to the wheel shafts 6, 7 and the motor 4 is supported by travel wheels 1a, 1b. By such arrangement, gap S between the motor 4 and a reaction rail 5 is adjusted in short time through adjustment of the eccentric cam 18.
