摘要：PURPOSE:To reduce the dose equivalent to the public by radioactive rare gas by providing a pressure releasing system for releasing the pressure in a nuclear reactor pressure vessel to the outside, and a combustion device for burning the gas released
from the pressure releasing system. CONSTITUTION:A nuclear reactor pressure vessel 2 is housed and set in a nuclear reactor containment vessel 3. A dry well vent line 10 and a wet well vent line 11 having valves 8, 9 interposed therein, respectively, are connected to a dry well 4 and a wet well 7, so that the pressure in the nuclear reactor containment vessel 3 can be released to the outside from an exhaust tower 13 through a filter 12. Further, on the opening upper part of the exhaust tower 13, a plurality of ignition plugs 18 are mounted, as combustion devices, at determined circumferential intervals, and when the valve 8 or 9 is opened, an operation signal is transmitted to a control device 16.
A power source 17 receives this operation signal and starts to operate the ignition plugs 18, whereby the hydrogen contained in the exhaust gas can be burnt.
