摘要：PURPOSE:To reduce vibration by a fluid vibration force of a control rod drive housing by making an opening at a core shroud support leg between internal pumps lower than the lower end of a control rod guide tube. CONSTITUTION:In a boiling water type nuclear reactor of an internal pump system, a coolant is forcibly circulated to a core with internal pumps 2 mounted in a pressure vessel 1. The lower end of a core shroud 3 are partition surrounding the core is welded securely at a support leg 4 provided on the bottom of the pressure vessel 1. A plate 9 is provided at the opening 10 of the leg 4 between the internal pumps 2 in such a manner that the opening is lower in the height than the lower end of a control rod guide tube 5. With such an arrangement, a jet of the coolant at the opening hits the lower end of a control rod drive housing 6 so that vibration by a fluid vibration force is reduced. Thus, a downward flow is intense immediately before the pumps 2, thereby allowing the jet to flow along the undersurface of the vessel 1 regardless of a higher opening of the leg 4.
