摘要：PURPOSE:To carry out repairs by using fire safely in a short period by a method wherein, in case of repairing the inner wall liner of the reactor, an inert gas is poured into a gap between the reactor and the liner and, thereafter, air is sent into the said gap to initiate repairs. CONSTITUTION:After temp. and pressure of the reactor are lowered, a cover and a flange are detached and, after a filled layer 8 is taken out, air is supplied into the layer 8 and the gap 4 to expel a benzene component. Subsequently, a working man opens a pore 13 to a lower portion of the liner 3 and an inert gas such as nitrogen gas or the like is supplied into the gap from the pore 13 and, at the same time, air ten times more of the inert gas is sent into the reactor to regulate oxygen concn. to 18% or more. Thereafter, the working man carries out repairs of the liner by using fire. Thereby, repairs is carried out safely in low cost for a short period.
