摘要： Reactor adapted to perform a continuous multi-stage catalytic reaction such as the conversion of synthesis gas to fuel with a higher rate of hydrocarbon. Reßctants gas are introduced via a gas permeable plate (15) in a slurry (16) which comprises the product and a finely divided catalyst. The liquid product is separated from the rest of the sludge by means of a filtration unit (13) comprising a filter element (22). A pressure difference is established across the filter element (22) by means of a device (23) at a constant level within the filtration unit; this device maintains a level of the filtrate (32) in the filtration unit (22) below the level of the sludge (16). The sludge (16) is maintained in a constant state of agitation by introducing gaseous components in the form of a bubble of vapor. Changes in the pressure difference across the filter element (22) prevent it from clogging and the gas spaces (28, 29) above the filtrate (32) and the sludge (16) are communication.
