    My Shirt
    I have this really cool shirt that I love to wear. It's my favorite shirt in the whole wide world! Let me tell you all about it.
    It's a bright red t-shirt with a big picture of Lightning McQueen from the Cars movies on the front. Lightning McQueen is this awesome red racecar who is super fast and always trying his best to win races. He's so cool! The picture on my shirt shows him racing along with that big awesome smile on his face. I just love that smile. It makes me smile too whenever I look at it.
    The shirt itself is made out of a really soft cotton material. It feels so comfy and cozy when
I put it on. The sleeves are nice and loose, not too tight at all. And the body has a little bit of room too so it's not squeezing me. That's important because I'm a really active kid and I need shirts that I can run around and play in without feeling constricted.
    My mom got this shirt for me at the Disney Store when we went to the mall last year. As soon as I saw it hanging up on the rack, I had to have it! I begged and pleaded with her until she finally gave in and bought it for me. I was so happy that day, I can still remember the big smile on my face when I put it on for the first time in the car. It felt brand new and amazing.
    I've worn that shirt pretty much nonstop ever since then. It goes with everything - shorts, pants, you name it. I'll put it on whenever I'm just lounging around the house playing with my toys. But I also wear it when I'm going out to the park or a friend's house too. Heck, I've even slept in it a few times because I enjoyed the softness so much!
    My mom does have to wrestle it off me occasionally to wash it. She says it's important to keep your clothes clean so they don't end up all smelly and gross. I don't really notice smell
s that much, but I know she's just looking out for me. I let her take it because I trust that she'll wash it with good soap and get it back to me soon, smelling fresh as a daisy.
    When the shirt comes out of the dryer, it's all warm and toasty. I love putting it on when it's like that because it feels like I'm wrapping myself up in a big warm hug. On cold winter days, it's extra nice having that layer of cozy warmth against my skin. It makes me feel all snuggly and happy inside.
    The only downside to this shirt is that I've worn it so darn much that it's starting to look a little worn out these days. The color has faded ever so slightly from such a brilliant red to a more dull shade. And there are a couple little holes near the hemline from me playing maybe a bit too roughly on the playground. My mom says I'll eventually need to retire it and get a new shirt.
    But I'm going to keep wearing this one for as long as I possibly can! Sure, it may be getting old and ratty, but it still makes me feel so happy and comfortable whenever I put it on. It's become like an old friend at this point. We have so many good memories together o
f playing outside, going on adventures, snuggling up to watch movies. I'm nowhere near ready to say goodbye yet.
    Some kids my age are obsessed with having all the latest trendy clothes and styles. Not me though. My trusty red Lightning McQueen shirt will always be by my side (or rather, on my body!). As long as it can still fit over my head, you better believe I'm going to rock this bad boy. It's my absolute favorite article of clothing, and I don't think any new shirt could ever top it. This one is a keeper for life!

    My Shirt
    I have this really cool shirt that I absolutely love. It's my favorite shirt ever! My mom got it for me last year for my birthday. When I opened up the present and saw the shirt, I was so excited. I gave my mom a huge hug and jumped up and down. I couldn't wait to put it on.

beautiful blue that reminds me of the summer sky. The fabric feels really soft and comfy too. It's made out of cotton, which is nice because it doesn't get all itchy like some shirts. There are also these awesome lightning bolt designs all over it that make it look extra cool. I think lightning bolts are so awesome and powerful. Maybe that's why I like the shirt so much - it makes me feel strong and fast like a real bolt of lightning!
    On the front of the shirt, there are the words "Turbo Speed!" printed in big, yellow letters. I'm not totally sure what "Turbo Speed" is supposed to mean, but it sounds really fast and exciting. Whenever I wear the shirt, I can't help but run around at full speed like I'm a race car going "turbo speed!" My dad just laughs at me when I do that. He thinks I'm being a silly goose.
    The best part about the shirt though is that it has a picture of my favorite superhero on the back - Lightning Kid! He's this really cool kid superhero who can run super fast and shoot lightning out of his hands. How awesome is that?! In the picture, he's running really fast and leaving a trail of lightning bolts behind him. I always imagine that's me when I wear
the shirt, zipping around and shooting lightning like Lightning Kid. Maybe someday I'll get to be a real superhero with superpowers! A kid can dream, right?
