英语口语中模糊语的使用

    That guy was kind of rude.

    如果有人问你，Hey , do you like Funk music?
    你可以回答: kind of.

    ish结尾的词
    描述人们的特征，颜和时间时，使用ish后缀
    如果我想描述一个红头发的朋友，但不完全是红的，我可以说 He has reddish hair.
    同理，高矮或者肥胖可以用tallish或者fattish。
    如果你想描述一个你记不起具体样子的人，可以说
    yeah, I remember that guy, hes kind of shortish/tallish and has lightish/darkish hair.
    看到了吧，这种描述可以指任何一个人。
    About / Or So
    描述数字和时间用about,估计和大约用or so.
    比如： I will get there at about 2.30.
    大约2点半到。
    There will be about 100 people at the next happy hour.
    到时候可能会有100人左右。
    I have about 20 cousins.

    Hes about 2 metres tall.
