    My Favorite Club Music
    Music is the best thing ever! I love listening to it, singing along to it, and even dancing to it sometimes. But my absolute favorite kind of music is club music. It's so fun, energetic and makes you want to jump up and down!
    Club music is basically any kind of dance/electronic music that you hear at clubs, parties, and raves. The beats are always super upbeat and thumping. The melodies are really catchy too, with lots of cool synths and vocal samples. Some of the most popular club genres are house, techno, trance, dubstep, and EDM.
    I first got into club music a couple years ago when my older cousin started taking me to he
r dance studio's kid hip-hop classes. They would play lots of club bangers during the warmup and dance routines. Songs like "The Drop" by Galantis, "Lean On" by Major Lazer, and "Where Are Ü Now" by Skrillex and Diplo. The beats were so fun and made me want to move and groove.
    At first, I just enjoyed dancing to the music. But then I started paying more attention to the actual songs and production. I was amazed by all the layers of percussion, synth melodies, vocal samples and more that made up these tracks. Some of my favorites back then were "Don't Let Me Down" by The Chainsmokers, "Closer" by The Chainsmokers ft. Halsey, and "Something Just Like This" by The Chainsmokers and Coldplay. Yeah, I was really into The Chainsmokers!
    As I got more and more into club music, I started discovering all the different subgenres and exploring more artists. For example, in the house genre, I'm a huge fan of Valentino Khan, Jauz, and Joyryde. Their tracks are so bouncy and make you want to jump up and down like a maniac. A few house heaters I have on repeat are "Psy or Die" by Valentino Khan, "Hello?" byJauzxNevville, and "AGEN WIDA" by Joyryde.
sort of club    Then you've got artists like NGHTMRE, Slander, and Seven Lions who make insane dubstep and melodic bass tunes. Whenever their drops hit, it's like an explosion going off in your brain! I lose my mind to songs like "Gud Vibrations" by NGHTMRE, "Love Is The Bluest Color" by Slander and Said The Sky, and "Freesol" by Seven Lions.
    More recently, I've also gotten super into techno and trance. Those genres have a darker, underground vibe which I dig. Some of my favorite techno artists are Boris Brejcha, Anna, and ARTBAT. Their tracks are hypnotic and make you feel like you're in a trippy dreamworld. As for trance, I've been really feeling artists like Armin van Buuren, Vini Vici, and Blastomussa. Give me a thumping trance beat, hard-hitting basslines, and euphoric melodies and I'm in heaven!
    Speaking of euphoric, that's one of the best feelings club music gives me. When you hear those big, uplifting breakdowns and melodies, it's like your soul is being massaged. A few tracks that never fail to give me those euphoric vibes are "On A Good Day (Odyssee Remix)" by Bakermat, "Language" by Porter Robinson, and "Saving Light" by Gareth Emery and Standerwick.
    But you know what's even better than just listening to club music at home? Experiencing it live at an actual show or festival! The energy and vibes are out of this world. I'll never forget the first club show I attended. It was the Chainsmokers on their "Memories Do Not Open" tour. Just watching them spin from the front row was mind-blowing. And when they played anthems like "Paris" and "Something Just Like This," the whole place went absolutely nuts!
    Since then, I've been to so many dope club shows and fests. Highlights include Illenium's jaw-dropping production and melodic masterpieces, Zedd's insane classic electro bangers, Marshmello's wholesome and fun vibe, and Alison Wonderland's dark but groovy trap sounds. Music festivals are a whole other level of club music magic. From the incredible stage productions and visuals, to the colossal dance floors and crowds, to the non-stop party atmosphere, they're out of this world. My two favorite fest experiences so far have been EDC Las Vegas and Ultra Miami. Nothing compares!

g beats, euphoric melodies, and unmatched live show experiences make it the most uplifting, fun, and wildmusical ride. Of course, there are other great genres too like hip-hop, rock, pop, etc. ButFor now and probably forever, club music will always have my heart!
