    Art is Super Cool!
    Hey guys! Today I want to talk to you about one of my favorite things ever - art! Art is just the coolest. There are so many different kinds of art and you can make art out of pretty much anything. How awesome is that?
    Let me tell you about some of the awesome art projects I've done at school. One time in art class, we got to paint with actual real-life fruit! We cut open lemons, limes, oranges and
even a pomegranate. Then we used the insides as paint and stamped them onto paper to make amazing fruity prints. Some of them looked like exotic birds or alien landscapes. I made mine into a big smiley face because that's how happy fruit art makes me feel!

    Another time, we did sculpture but with stuff you'd normally just throw away like paper towel rolls, egg cartons, bottle caps and popsicle sticks. I made a crazy looking robot dude by sticking all those things together with glue and painting him with bright colors. His arms were popsicle sticks and his body was an egg carton cut in half. Too fun!
    My absolute favorite kind of art is when we get to work with clay. There's just something magical about taking a blank lump of clay and molding it into anything you can imagine with your own two hands. Once I made a dinosaur that looked like it was dodging meteors. Another time I sculpted the whole cast of characters from my favorite cartoon. I get so zoned in and focused when I'm working with clay. It's like nothing else matters except shaping it just right.
    Art doesn't just have to be making stuff though. You can find art everywhere you look if y
ou know how to really see it. Like cloud watching - the clouds are always shifting into new crazy shapes and formations. One minute it's a elephant, the next it's a pirate ship! Trees are another awesome example of natural art, with their twisting branches creating wild patterns against the sky.
    Even cities have art if you look close enough. The angles of the buildings, the curves of the roads, the bright colors of street signs and graffiti. It's like an endless 3D painting surrounding you. My family went to an outdoor sculpture garden for my little brother's birthday last year and that was probably the coolest art experience ever. These massive metal structures contrasted with lush green landscapes, it felt like being on an alien world.
    I could go on and on about art because there's just so much to love about it. Being creative and making things is so fun and freeing. And when you step back and start looking at the world through an artistic lens, you see the beauty in the most unexpected places. If you ask me, fostering that creativity and appreciation for art from a young age is really important. Not just for making cool stuff, but for opening your mind to seeing things in a new way.
    Anyways, that's just my take as a certified 4th grade art expert! Let me know if you want me to show you how to sculpt something crazy awesome out of clay sometime.
