摘要：An upright net for table tennis comprises a number of rigid latticework sections (1 and 1') each with upper and lower edge strips. Respective connector tongues (21) project from the edge strips on one side of each net section (1), and on the other side the edge strips are provided with receiving sections for receiving the connector tongues of another net section. The receiving sections comprise struts (33 to 36) located on both sides of each edge strip, to define a receiving space between them. Base portions of the connector tongues (21) of each net section (1) are asymmetrically offset to opposite sides of the net section. On a side which is flush with a side of the corresponding edge strip, each base portion is bonded by an abutment step (25 or 28) to one of the strut members (34) of the corresponding receiving section. Beyond this step (25 or 28), the tongue continues symmetrically for location between strut members of the receiving section.
