    How to Surf the Web Safely
    The internet is an amazing place where you can learn, play games, watch videos, and talk to friends. But it's important to be safe while you're online because there are some bad people out there who might try to trick you or make you feel uncomfortable.
    My mom and dad taught me a lot of rules to follow when I'm using the computer or my tablet. First, I'm never allowed to give out any personal information like my name, address, phone number, or the name of my school. The internet is kind of like being out in public, so you have to be careful about what information you share, just like you wouldn't go around telling strangers where you live.
    I'm also not allowed to open any emails, messages, links or files from people I don't know. Sometimes hackers and creeps will try to send you viruses or inappropriate stuff to get you in trouble. If I get a weird message or email, I'm supposed to show it to my parents right away without opening anything.
    Speaking of emails, my parents had to approve my email address and they have the password to my account. That way if anybody is harassing me or sending me spam, they can get into my account and block them. It's the same with any websites or games that require an account - my mom and dad have to create it using their email and they know the passwords.
    When I'm chatting or playing online games, I use a cool avatar name instead of my real name. I'm not allowed to share any photos or personal details about myself or my family and friends either. You never know who might be watching or trying to gather information.
