    Hi there! My name is Emily and I'm 9 years old. I'm in the 4th grade at Oakwood Elementary School. I live with my mom, dad, and little brother Jacob who is 6. We also have a dog named Buddy who is a golden retriever. He's super friendly and loves to play fetch!
    My favorite subject in school is art because I love drawing, painting, and being creative. I'm also pretty good at math and enjoy solving problems. During recess, I usually play on the swings or jump rope with my best friend Sarah. We've known each other since kindergarten!
    Some of my hobbies are reading fiction books, especially stories about adventures or mysteries. I'm a big Harry Potter fan! I also like riding my bike, swimming at the pool in summer, and watching movies with my family on weekends. My favorite foods are pizza, tacos, and ice cream (chocolate is the best flavor!).
    This summer, my family is going on a trip to the beach. I'm really excited to build sandcastles, collect seashells, and swim in the ocean. I've never seen the ocean before so I can't wait! My dream is to become a marine biologist when I grow up so I can study all the cool animals that live in the sea.

    Hello everyone! My name is Emma and I'm 9 years old. I'm in 4th grade at Oakwood Elementary School. Today I want to tell you a little bit about myself and my life.
    I live with my mom, dad, and little brother Charlie who is 6 years old. We also have a dog named Buddy who is a golden retriever. He's really fun to play with in our backyard. My favorite game is when I throw his tennis ball and he runs to catch it and bring it back to me. Buddy is so cute and fluffy!
    At school, my favorite subjects are art and reading. I love getting to draw pictures and paint. My best friend is Sarah and we always sit together at lunch and play on the swings during recess. Sarah and I also take dance classes after school on Wednesdays. We are learning ballet, jazz, and hip hop dance. It's really fun!
    When I'm not at school, I enjoy riding my bike around the neighborhood with my brother. I have a pink bike with tassels on the handlebars. We race each other and I usually win because my legs are longer. In the summer, we go to the pool almost every day and play mermaids in the water. I'm a really good swimmer!
    Some of my other hobbies are gymnastics, singing, and baking. On Saturdays I have gymnastics practice for a few hours. I can do cartwheels, handstands, and even walk on the balance beam! My mom lets me help her bake cookies and cupcakes too. I'm getting really good at cracking the eggs and mixing up the batter. My favorite cookies to make are chocolate chip.
    For my birthday last month, I had a unicorn themed party. All my friends came over and
we played pin-the-horn on the unicorn, had a piñata, and I got lots of fun unicorn toys and books. My best present was a giant stuffed unicorn that's as big as me! I named her Sparkles. She's pink and purple with a beautiful golden horn. At night, Sparkles sits next to my bed so I can snuggle her while I sleep.
    In the future, I hope I can become a teacher or maybe a doctor when I grow up. I would love to work with little kids like me. Or it could be awesome to be a doctor and help make people feel better when they are sick. I'm going to work really hard in school so I can achieve my dreams someday.
