    When those first snowflakes start drifting down from the sky, I get so excited for winter! Everything looks so pretty covered in a blanket of sparkling white snow. My friends and I have epic snowball fights and see who can make the coolest snow fort or the funniest-looking snowman.
    The best part is when it snows enough for a snow day - no school! We spend the whole day sledding, making snow angels, and trying to catch snowflakes on our tongues. In the evenings, we go ice skating at the outdoor rink downtown. The twinkling lights and festive decorations make it feel like a magical winter wonderland.

    Spring
    Spring is one of my favorite seasons! After the cold and snowy winter, everything starts to wake up again. The trees grow new green leaves and pretty flowers bloom everywhere. Tulips, daffodils and cherry blossoms are some of the first flowers I see. I love the fresh smells of spring and watching baby animals like birds, squirrels and rabbits being born.
