Many Americans go to work five days a week. American school students go to school five days a week, too, so they usually have a two-day weekend. The weekend is Saturday and Sunday. On weekends, people spend their time in many different ways. Sometimes they go shopping. Sometimes they go for a drive. Sometimes they visit friends. Many families enjoy weekends together.
