本课时在词汇的基础上学习拓展少量月份及描述季节的句子,学生已经掌握相关词汇,因而学习起来更加容易
3重点难点
本课的教学重点为掌握单词warm, hot, cool, cold, March, April, May, rich,及短语
go swimming,复习短语make a snowman
教学难点为通过短文的阅读能描述四季的特点及人们的活动。在突破难点中我始终以
“What’s the weather like in ...?”“What do you ...?”为教学主线,贯穿始终。坚持让学生在创设的真实语境中感知语言,掌握并运用。

活动1【导入】Lead-in
a.Greetings
b.Divide students into two teams (Spider man and Princess Elsa)
(设计意图:通过引入卡通人物的竞争机制,激发学生的参与热情)
Warm-up :Chant (the Color of seasons)
Students say the chant together with teachers
(设计意图: 朗朗上口的韵文使学生的注意力回归课堂,并且营造一种欢快的课堂氛围,为课题Seasons的引入起到承上启下的作用)
活动2【讲授】New words and phrases teaching
1. Introduce Baba’s Little Magic Fairy to Students, then ask them to guess
which season it is.
T: Baba’s Little Magic Fairy use her magic stick turn our season into other
seasons, can you guess it?
T: Which season is it?
S: It’s spring.
Then ask students what the weather is like to teach new words : warm, cool, hot
and cold
T: What’s the weather like in spring?
