解题思路点拨：
1. 文中的一二句就点明了整个文章的话题是关于季节的。是个比较熟悉的话题，我们在知识层面上有优势，但是也要注意不要想当然地做题，要密切地跟原文结合。
2. 在初次阅读掌握文章大概之后，将后面的题目看一遍，带着问题详细地阅读。并在原文作出标记。“Many parts of the world have four seasons. 许多地区不是全部地区，因此第一小题是错误的。根据原文many animals have babies.可知第二小题是对的。 第三小题与原文是一样的Summer is the hottest season. 第四小题课参考原文：In fall the days get shorter. 第5小题可参考原文Winter is the coldest season. ……Plants stop growing and many trees are bare. ” 初始答案出来之后，再进行复查。
3. 知识链接：1）fall 和 autumn都表示秋季。2）文中比较级的使用较多,我们不妨看看：cool-cooler-coolest, warm-warmer-warmest, hot-hotter-hottest, long-longer-longest, short-shorter-shortest，etc.

解题思路点拨：
1． 首先要清楚这是一篇表格形式的阅读，理解不难，贵在细心。在通读一遍之后，会有一个整体感觉: Mary 和 Kate 是两妹，她们体检的结果基本上都不相同，但是最后的结论是他们都很健康。
2． 带着题目回到原文再做判断，着重看她们之间的比较：年龄文中并没有提到，因此无法判断谁年长，因此第2小题是错误的。切不可从身高体重就去推测。第3小题中Mary的头发从原文可知是长的黑发，因此brown是错误的。第4小题中要注意谁重谁轻，根据原文知道，Mary比Kate 重10斤。第5小题可知道她们眼睛的颜是不一样的。
3． 最后再复查，细心方能成功。答案：T. F. F. T. F

On Sunday morning, Mr. Baker takes Mike and Joan to a plane. He opens the door of the p
lane and lets the children in. Soon the plane begins to go up. Joan looks out of the window, “Oh, we’re like birds in the sky!” She says. She looks at the houses, but they are like toy houses. Mike looks out of the window, too. He sees some buses. They look like toy buses. The people on the ground look very, very small, too. Then the plane comes down and down, and stops on the ground. Mike and Joan are very happy.

解题思路点拨：
