Title: What I Do on Qingming Festival
Qingming Festival is a traditional Chinese festival. On this day, my family and I visit the graves of our ancestors. We bring flowers, burn incense, and clean the tombstones. It's a way to remember and honor our loved ones who have passed away.
During the Qingming Festival, I also fly kites with my friends. We run in the open fields and let our colorful kites soar in the sky. It's so much fun to watch them dance with the wind.
Besides that, my mom prepares delicious food for us to enjoy as a family. We have special Qingming dumplings called "Qingtuan." They are made of green rice and filled with sweet bean paste. They are not only tasty but also bring good luck.
In the evening, we light lanterns and release them into the sky. It's a beautiful sight to see the sky filled with glowing lanterns. It makes me feel happy and peaceful.

What to Do for Qingming Festival
Qingming Festival is one of my favorite holidays! It's a special day in spring when we get to remember and honor our ancestors who came before us. There are lots of fun traditions and activities to do on Qingming Festival.
The main thing people do is go sweep the graves of their relatives who have passed awa
y. My grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins all meet up at the cemetery. We bring brushes, water, fresh flowers, and food offerings like fruits and sweet cakes. First we clean off the gravestone really well, brushing away any dirt or dead leaves. Then we put out the fresh flowers to make it look beautiful and colorful. The food goes on a little table in front of the gravestone as an offering.
After cleaning the grave, the adults burn incense and fake paper money. The smoke from the incense is supposed to reach the spirits of our ancestors in the afterlife, and the paper money gives them riches to use. My grandparents say prayers honoring our ancestors and thanking them. It's a solemn, respectful ceremony but I get fidgety having to be so quiet and still!
The fun really starts after the grave sweeping is done. We kids run around flying kites and playing games while the adults catch up over tea and snacks. There are kite flying competitions and whoever can get their kite the highest wins a prize. I'm not very good at kite flying yet, but I had a blast last year watching the colorful kites dancing in the wind.
Another popular Qingming activity is eating sweet green snacks. The green color symbolizes spring and new life. My favorite is a dessert soup made with sweet green balls of pounded rice and a sweet syrup. Some people eat green vegetables like peas and celery, or rice dumplings wrapped in green bamboo leaves. Yum!
One of the most exciting things about Qingming Festival is going on a family outing or trip. A lot of people have a few days off from school and work during this holiday. My family likes to go hiking in the mountains or visiting a park to see the flowers blooming. We pack snacks and play outdoor games together. I love running around in the fresh spring air after being cooped up inside all winter!
Some other fun Qingming traditions include putting willow branches on the front door for good luck, wearing willow jewelry, and appreciating spring couplets of poetry and calligraphy. I like how colorful the poetry scrolls look hanging up, even if I don't always understand what they mean. There are also fairs and markets happening with vendors selling crafts, flowers, snacks, and kites.
springshow是什么意思中文翻译
All the Qingming activities are a way to celebrate the beauty of springtime's renewal after winter. By showing respect for our ancestors, we honor the continuity between past and present generations of our family line. The kites, green foods, and outings connect us to the natural cycles of the seasons. I feel so grateful to carry on these meaningful traditions! Qingming Festival is the perfect kick-off to an exciting spring season full of warmth, life, and togetherness with my loved ones.
