    In the first unit of the fifth grade book, we learned a lot of fun things! We learned how to i

    First, we learned how to say "Hello, my name is ..." in English. It's so simple and easy to remember. We also learned how to talk about our hobbies. I told my class that I love playing soccer and painting. My classmates shared their hobbies too, like playing piano, dancing, and reading books. It was fun to learn about everyone's interests.
    Next, we talked about our favorite things and our dislikes. I said I love pizza and ice cream, but I really dislike broccoli. My friend said she loves apples and oranges, but she doesn't like spicy food. It was interesting to know what everyone enjoys and what they don't like.
    Lastly, we learned how to describe our family members. I talked about my mom, dad, and little brother.
