    My Weekend with My Fun Family
    Last weekend was so fun! My family and I did a lot of cool stuff together. On Saturday morning, we had pancakes for breakfast. My little sister Emily got syrup all over her face because she's a messy eater. It was really funny and we all laughed at her.
    After breakfast, we went to the park near our house. The weather was beautiful and sunny. At the park, me and my brother Jack played on the swings and the seesaw. My mom pushed Emily on the baby swings. My dad tried going really high on the big kid swings but then he got stuck and we had to call the fire department to get him down. It was so embarrassing! The firefighters thought it was really funny.
    For lunch, we had a picnic at the park. We made peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. I don't like jelly though so I just had a peanut butter sandwich. My dad's sandwich fell on the ground so he had to eat my mom's sandwich instead. She got pretty mad at him.

    In the afternoon, we went home and my mom took a nap because she was tired from being at the park all morning. Me, Jack, Emily and my dad played in the backyard. We played tag and hid-and-go-seek. Then my dad set up the sprinkler and we all ran through it. We got completely soaked but it was hot out so it felt good.
    For dinner, we ordered pizza from our favorite place. We got a pepperoni pizza, a sausage pizza, and a vegetarian pizza for my mom because she's vegetarian. My dad ate so many slices that he got a really bad stomachache and my mom had to give him some medicine.
    On Sunday, we slept in really late. Well, my parents and Emily slept in. Me and Jack woke up early because we were too excited. We watched cartoons downstairs for a few hours until everyone else woke up.
    For Sunday breakfast, we had doughnuts that my dad went out to get. He got all of our favorites - glazed, sprinkled, chocolate frosted, and jelly filled. My sister Emily shoved an entire jelly doughnut in her mouth and ended up with jelly all over her face again. She's so silly!
    After breakfast, we didn't really do too much. We just hung around the house. My dad mowed the lawn and washed the car. Me and Jack played some video games. My mom read a book and my little sister Emily took a really long nap.
    For Sunday dinner, we grilled hamburgers and hotdogs outside on the barbeque. I had a hamburger with ketchup, mustard and pickles. Emily just had a plain hotdog because she's a picky eater. After dinner, we roasted marshmallows over the barbeque for dessert. I got marshmallow all over my hands and face!
    Overall, it was such a fun weekend. We did so many fun activities together as a family. My favorite part was playing at the park and getting soaked by the sprinkler. I can't wait for another fun weekend with my family!

    My Weekend With My Family
    Last weekend was so much fun! My mom, dad, little sister Emily, and I did all kinds of cool things together as a family. I'm going to tell you all about it.
    On Saturday morning, we woke up and had pancakes for breakfast. My dad makes the best pancakes ever! He puts chocolate chips in them and they are so yummy. After we ate, my mom said we were going to go to the park and have a picnic lunch. "Yay!" I shouted because I love picnics.
    We got our picnic basket ready with sandwiches, chips, cookies, and lemonade. My dad carried the heavy basket and we all walked together to Elm Park near our house. It was a beautiful sunny day, perfect for being outside. When we got to the park, we found a nice shady spot under a big oak tree and set out our blanket. We played frisbee and tag for a while to work up an appetite.
    Finally it was lunchtime and we dug into our picnic basket. Everything tasted so good out in the fresh air. After we ate, we had a contest to see who could run the fastest around the park trail. I came in second place after my dad. Emily is only 5 so she's still pretty slow.
    In the afternoon, we went to the playgrounds and I went down the biggest slide about a million times! Emily and I also spent a long time digging in the sandbox. We made a whole city out of sand with roads, houses, a castle, and a moat. My dad helped us by shaping some of the buildings.
    After the park, we stopped for ice cream at Johnny's Ice Cream Shoppe downtown. I got a triple chocolate sundae that was bigger than my head! Emily got cotton candy flavor in a cup which turned her whole mouth bright blue. We were all laughing at her when she smiled with her blue teeth.
    When we got home, we were tired out from our big day of activities. We had leftover pizza for dinner while watching a movie together as a family. I got to pick the movie, so we watched The Lion King which is my favorite. I fell asleep on the couch before it was even o
