八年级的学生对英语已经有了一定程度的了解。但因其是高年级所以对英语学习兴趣整体有所下降，两极分化比较严重。所以本学期应做好后进生的转化工作，面向全体学生，以学生的发展为宗旨，始终把激发学生的学习兴趣放在首位，注意分层教学，引导学生端正学习态度，掌握良好的学习方法，培养学生良好的学习习惯。
通过本节课的学习，大部分学生对课标要求的短语及句型已掌握，而且能够拓展运用之前学过的一些词组进行练习，效果比较好。个别同学需要加强练习。

本堂课结束后，我感觉设计的几个趣味操练、扩展活动、探究活动深受学生喜爱，学生们兴趣很浓，积极参与，达到了我的教学目标。孩子们在轻松愉快的气氛中掌握了单词和句子，增强了学生的自信心和成就感，同时培养了学生的合作精神和创新能力。同时本节课的教学中也存在着一些不足，如教学设计注重小组合作，注重培养学生的小组合作精神，培养学生呢个体意识的练习只有一、两个，应设计一些既能体现个体又能发挥整体性的教学环节，使学生个体与整体联系起来，达到学以致用的目的，本人将会在今后的教学中提高这方面的训练。
