摘要：PURPOSE:To enlarge the radius of curvature of the bend by a method wherein each roller portion of a chain for conveyors is freely swingable between both boss portions. CONSTITUTION:Both end faces a of each roller portion 1 are formed to be arch- shaped protuberances equal to the fragments of a sphere with the length of the roller portion as a diameter, while the opposed inside end faces b of boss portions 3 are formed to be arch-shaped recesses corresponding to the end faces a of the roller portion. The roller portion 1 and the boss portion 3 are provided along their center axis with through-holes 5, 6 equal in diameter to a pin 4. The through-hole 5 of the roller portion is formed to be tapered holes C-1, C-2 of which the diameter increases in the direction from the central portion to the end portions. Both ends of the pins 4 passing through the through-holes 5, 6 are calked and the pins 4 are prevented from slipping out by washers 7. Accordingly, the chain is easy to bend to the right and left widely and the rattling of the chain is reduced.
