摘要：PURPOSE:To obtain a sufficient attaching strength without reducing the strength of the leaf spring itself by a method wherein the leaf spring is attached to a chasis by bent parts formed on the ends of the leaf spring through pins. CONSTITUTION:The upper and lower leaf springs 1, 2 are pinching a housing 3 at the central parts thereof and pads 4, 5 are arranged above and below thereof respectively. The leaf springs 1, 2 and the housing 3 are clamped by a pair of U-bolts 6, 7 through the pads 4, 5 from the fore and back of the housing 3. The fore and aft ends of the leaf springs 1, 2 are formed with the bent parts 8, 9 respectively so as to oppose the recessed parts thereof each other. The roots of said bent parts 8, 9 are clamped by clamping devices 12 consisting of U-bolts 10 and clamping plates 11 and the spring pin 13 is held by fore end bent part while a shackle pin 14 is held by the aft end bend part.
