摘要：PURPOSE:To obtain a slide gate valve which does not require cleaning by forming, on a valve hole edge, a scraper part making close contact with a valve plate to scrape a matter attached to the valve plate with a slide of the valve plate. CONSTITUTION:A slide gate valve is constructed by disposing a valve plate 3 slidably to the lower face side of a valve seat plate 2 having a valve hole 1 so that the valve hole 1 can be opened and closed by a slide of the valve plate 3. And a scraper part 4 making close contact with the valve plate 3 to scrape a matter attached to the valve plate 3 is formed on the valve hole 1 edge. Then, each time when the valve plate 3 is slid to open or close the valve hole 1, the matter attached to the valve plate 3 is scraped by the scraper part 4, then cleaning of the slide gate valve becomes unnecessary.
