To obsess or to die
There are no two words in the English language more harmful than “Good job”. According to the instruction on Baidu, I thought it was just a traditional inspirational story. Who would have thought that it makes me even shudder? Whiplash is about music college, specifically the fraught relationship between a promising young drummer and a demanding teacher. In the face of Fletcher's hellish training,Andrew tried his best to practice day and night and never stop,even though his hands are full of blood.
Paranoid teacher and paranoid student,they are similar, they can do everything only for the pursuit of perfection.
As the drum skill improve, his character gradually distorted.He speak evilly to his girlfriend, strike violently to the teacher on the stage.,even there was a car accident he also struggle t

o climb out to the stage.There is nothing else important than being a great dummer.
And Fletcher,what he only want is to make his Charlie Parker,he can do it by fair means or foul. He can abuse the students in the most vicious language,he could throw a chair to a student. There are how many student be ruined under his devil training are not important,he don’t care,he just want to make perfect drummer.
They are frenemy.
In the end of the movie,after Andrew was cheated by Feltcher,facing of a spatter of applause,Andrew leaves cloudily.But he didn’t,he never gave up. He turned around and walked back to the stage.He started to play the drum in his own way and the entire show became his own drum solo.Feltcher was mock—surprised—encouraged—relieved.
