摘要：A variable air diffuser (10) having a plenum housing (11) which is in fluid communication with supply air (12) and/or return air (73) wherein said plenum housing (11) has a continuous peripheral wall (13, 14, 16, 17) and an opening (7) for passage of supply air (12) and/or return air (73) characterized in that there is provided at least one damper blade (35, 36, 80, 81, 82, 83, 70) having a first end and a second end wherein said at least one damper blade (35, 36, 80, 81, 82, 83, 70) is pivotally mounted to the plenum housing (11) or mounting structure (18, 18A, 19, 49, 49A) proximal to the opening intermediate the first and second end to provide an inner end which is movable either manually or by a movable element (58, 90, 106, 109) of an actuator assembly (85, 101) for opening and closing of an air access slot or aperture formed between an outer end of said at least one damper blade (35, 36, 80, 81, 82, 83, 70) and an abutment for said at least one damper blade.
