Day after day, people are busy with their work and study. It seems to us that everyday is commonplace. However, I will never forget one day which really is embedded in my mind ever after.
A lovely spring day, I had finished a whole day’s study, riding back home. Suddenly, I found I couldn’t ride easily and felt exceedingly tired at that time. So, I got off and took a look at my bike. It was something wrong with my bicycle’s tyre, it had been punctured by a small nail. What was worse, I was frustrated by that there was no money in my pocket f
or I couldn’t repair it.
Walking along the street, I was extremely excited because a repairman on the roadside was fixing the bike. But, I was bewildered as soon as I thought of no money. Surprisingly, the man found me and asked me to come to him. I said to him:” I’ m sorry that I have no money to repair the bike.” “It doesn’t matter!” he replied bluntly. After a few minutes, my bike was repaired well by him without pay.
I wanted to give the money back with my gratitude. Unfortunately, I couldn’t found him any longer. Although I don’t remember what the exact date of that day, this litter matter was really unforgettable in my heart as well as the smile on the repairman’s face. I tasted the love and care in the whole society, moreover, being a helpful and warm hearted people is much more necessary for everybody in the world.

We got there at nine o'clock. Mr Zhu divided us into three groups and then we began working.
the students in Group One planted trees and watered flowers. the studentsin Group Two were busy collecting litter left by the tourist. they also cleaned the benches in the park. I was in Group Three. We went to the children's playground and cleaned all the equipment there. We worked very hard.
At about eleven we finished working. We met at the gate of the park. We all felt tired but very happy.

On my way home from my shopping, I noticed a fire. I called the fire department immediately. In a few minutes, the fire fighters came and started work. But, all of a sudden, a foreign lady rushed to the fire fighters for help. She was talking quickly in English and made lots of gestures to show the fire fighters what was happening. But, the f
ire fighters could not understand what she was saying. They tried to call the fire station for an interpeter. But, the lady started crying. I waved to her and asked her what had happened. She was very excited to see someone speaking her language. She told me her baby was in her bedroom on the second floor. I told the fire fighters right away and they sent one man there by a high ladder. Her baby was rescued and the lady gave me a big hug.
I felt excited because I made use of my English learnt from my school.
