1、核心词汇讲解
●contain v. 包含；含有...成分；抑制...情感
【例】
1.This book contains 12 units.
2.Sea water contains salt.
3.He can’t contain his excitement.
【词汇辨析】
从语义上讲，contain表示全部包含，而include表示部分包含。
从语法上讲，contain不采用分词形式做插入语，而include可以。
例如：The book contains 12 units, ____________(include) two revisions.
      The book contains 12 units, two revisions_____________(include).
●access  n. 接近；通道；使用...的权利
【用】have access to sth （注意没有冠词，介词使用to）
【例】Only some high officials____________________ the president.
【译】只有一些高级官员才能接近主席。
【练】He didn’t find a job yet because he had __ access to me who could help him.
      v. 获取（尤指电脑信息）
【用】access sth （注意access为及物动词，直接加宾语）

●-sist该词根来源于拉丁语，意思是stand，通过加上不同意思的前缀，衍生出具有不同意思的词语，consist就是一例。此外还有persist (坚持)， resist (抵抗)， assist(帮助)，desist(停止)，subsist (维持)。
