As an important part of Chinese culture, traditional culture has a long history and profound influence on the Chinese nation. It is the spirit of Chinese culture and the source of Chinese nation's survival and development.
As a Chinese, we should learn from our ancestors and carry forward the fine traditional culture. We should learn the essence of traditional culture, such as Confucianism, which stresses benevolence and righteousness, and Taoism, which advocates harmony between man and nature. We should also learn the traditional virtues of diligence, thrift, filial piety and respect for elders. We should learn the traditional etiquette and respect for others. We should also learn the traditional Chinese art and literature, such as calligraphy, painting, poetry, music and so on.
At the same time, we should actively participate in activities to carry forward the traditional culture. We should take part in the activities to promote traditional culture, such as the traditional festivals, the traditional customs, the traditional music and so on. We should also
promote the traditional culture in our daily life, such as greeting our elders with respect, being polite to others, and so on.thrift
