教材分析
本节课是高中英语第一册Unit 3 Celebrations的第一课Spring Festival,课型是阅读课,介绍了三个人庆祝中国春节的故事和不同感受,通过三个人的叙述,让同学们对中国春节有更深入的了解,并且能够通过外国人的视角解读中国春节。本课结束后,学生要学会春节的相关表达。

1.Show Students a video about Spring Festival and ask them the impression of Spring Festival.
2.Let students ask each other in pairs “what do you do to celebrate spring festival?”, then report to the class about what your partners have answered. Use the following phrases to help you.

1. Fast reading: (5’)Read the three readers’ accounts. Use a few words to summarize the meaning of Spring Festival for each account. Give your reasons.
2. Careful reading. (10Find out each person’s experience of Spring Festival in the three accounts. Take notes.
