unfamiliar  It is a week since I entered the senior high. The new school leaves a deep impression on me. The campus is large and beautiful with a lot of trees all around. Our classroom is big and we have fifty students in our class. They are all hard-working, which puts me under pressure. However, I decide to go all out and face the challenges bravely. There is a very big stadium in our school, where we take part in all kinds of after-school activities. So we lead a more colorful campus life, which is different from that of my junior high.
  All in all, I think that my first week at senior high is a very good experience.

Today is my first day at senior high. On setting foot on the campus, I fell in love with the new campus,which is huge and large with all kinds of trees and flowers. However, as for the most meaningful part, there is no doubt that it was the class meeting, during which all the students made self-introductions and our headteacher told us many learning methods as well as how to lead a colorful life at senior high school.
I hold the belief that with such responsible teachers and friendly classmates, I will have a happy and meaningful high school life.

My name is Li Hua, a sixteen-year-old boy from China.Now I would like to share a story about a misadventure in English with you.
Last summer, I stayed with a British host family. One day, I was really surprised when Jac
k, the son of the family, told me that we would have toad-in-the-hole for dinner. I wasn’t sure whether we were going to eat a real toad in a hole. If so, how terrible! With butterflies in my stomach, I joined them at dinner time. To my astonishment, a pancake with sausages was served on the table,which tasted delicious. It turned out that toad-in-the-hole is a typical dish for a British dinner, and there’s no toad！
What an amazing experience！It was interesting to try such yummy food with a strange name.
